This position offers the opportunity to develop specialized dermatology knowledge, work alongside experienced providers, and grow professionally within a supportive team environment. Previous medical clinic experience is preferred, and dermatology experience is highly desired, but not required.

What You'll Do
As a Dermatology Medical Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient experiences while supporting providers in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment. Responsibilities include:
* Preparing patients for visits by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and documenting relevant information.
* Assisting physicians during dermatologic examinations, biopsies, procedures, and treatments.
* Educating patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare recommendations.
* Maintaining accurate patient records within the electronic medical record system.
* Supporting clinic operations through scheduling, patient communication, and coordination of care.
* Preparing and maintaining exam rooms, instruments, and supplies.
* Performing specimen collection and handling according to established protocols.

* High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
* Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical healthcare setting is preferred.
* Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly related to dermatology.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interactions.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is advantageous.

Compensation Range: $22.00-$29.00 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
