Job Title: Premises Manager\n\nLocation: Ealing West London, W5 2PJ (fully office based)\n\nHourly rate £22.33 PAYE / £29.58 Umbrella per hour\n\nContract Length: 3-month contract (possibility of extension)\n\nWorking Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 21 hours (Part Time)\n\nASAP Start\n\nAbout the Role\n\nAre you an experienced facilities professional ready to take the lead in managing a key council site? We're looking for a proactive and skilled Premises Manager to oversee operations at Carmelita House, ensuring statutory compliance, safety, and service excellence.\n\nYou'll be the go-to person for all building and FM-related matters, working closely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain high standards and deliver efficient, customer-focused services.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and manage FM services at Carmelita House, ensuring service standards are met.\nEnsure full compliance with health & safety regulations and council policies.\nAct as the responsible person for fire and emergency incidents.\nManage budgets, monitor expenditure, and report on financial performance.\nDevelop and maintain service level agreements and improvement programmes.\nCoordinate site works and support project delivery.\nDrive carbon reduction initiatives in collaboration with the Energy Manager.\nEnsure safe working practices and contractor compliance.\nProvide detailed reports and recommendations to senior management.What We're Looking For\n\nEssential Skills & Experience:\n\nStrong knowledge of health & safety and building regulations.\nProven leadership in emergency situations.\nExcellent communication and report-writing skills.\nExperience managing FM projects and budgets.\nStrong customer service and organisational abilities.\nFamiliarity with service contracts and delivery expectations.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).\nExperience with CAFM systems.Qualifications:\n\nDegree or relevant qualification in Facilities Management.\nMembership of a professional body (e.g., RICS or BIFM) or substantial relevant experience. \n\nAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
