Receptionist & Admin Assistant

Location: Notts County Football Club, Nottingham, UK

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday (Job share would be considered)

Reception & Enquiries

* Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, supporters and stakeholders.
* Answer and manage incoming calls, emails and face-to-face enquiries professionally.
* Respond to ticketing, matchday and general club queries, escalating where appropriate.
* Handle enquiries from media, commercial partners and recruitment applicants, directing them to the relevant departments.
* Manage supporter and general public enquiries, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
* Maintain a welcoming, organised and presentable reception area at all times.
* Manage visitor sign-in procedures, issue passes and maintain visitor logs.
* Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and couriers.

Administration

* Provide general administrative support including correspondence, data entry and record keeping.
* Support recruitment administration, including managing enquiries, coordinating interviews and updating club systems.
* Assist with staffing and rota management using online systems (experience of Human Force or similar desirable).
* Raise and process invoices and support basic finance administration, including purchase orders and reconciliations as required.
* Maintain accurate records for suppliers and deliveries, logging queries and liaising with internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
* Coordinate communications with internal departments (football operations, commercial, ticketing, groundstaff) and external stakeholders (leagues, FA, suppliers and partners).
* Support meeting room bookings, hospitality arrangements and preparation of facilities as required.
* Assist with stock control and ordering of office supplies.

* Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures, remaining vigilant to concerns involving children and adults at risk and reporting appropriately.
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with data protection requirements (e.g. GDPR).
* Support health and safety procedures, reporting hazards and ensuring compliance with club policies.
* Participate in mandatory training including safeguarding, EDI and health & safety.
* Provide administrative or operational support across departments as required during busy periods.
* Undertake any other duties appropriate to the level of the post as reasonably required by management.

Pay: From £24,000.00 per year
