They are currently recruiting a commercially minded Senior Category / Procurement Manager to lead the CapEx category. Your new roleSupported by a Category Manager, you will manage a specialist category area across the organisation. You will develop and implement category strategies designed to maximise value, establish collaborative supplier relationships and to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, a key focus of the role will be leading on complex tender programmes, commercial negotiations, contract management and supplier management. Projects will be publicly or privately funded and so the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders is vital to success. What you'll need to succeedYou will understand market dynamics and cost drivers and have experience of undertaking a range of sourcing activities including RFQs, formal tenders and sourcing competitions. You will be a strong negotiator with contract management experience to ensure full end to end delivery and robust supplier management.
