Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Business Manager who can quickly step into a busy central team, take ownership of key processes, and provide immediate value.
This role will be central to ensuring strong coordination across governance activities, supporting delivery of the Annual Report & Accounts, and maintaining business continuity arrangements. The successful candidate will need to be confident working at pace, managing several concurrent priorities, and producing high‑quality outputs from day one.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong business management experience who thrives in fast‑moving environments and can bring clarity, structure and reliability to core corporate processes.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate governance activity including agendas, papers, forward plans, and high‑quality information flow across senior groups.
* Lead coordination of the Annual Report & Accounts process, ensuring timely contributions, quality assurance of content, and smooth delivery against deadlines.
* Support the maintenance and review of business continuity arrangements and directorate plans.
* Track progress on key organisational actions, ensure updates are collected, and escalate issues where necessary.
* Produce clear, concise briefings, summaries, and reports for senior leaders.
* Build strong working relationships and act as a central point of contact for corporate queries.
* Identify opportunities to streamline and strengthen operational and administrative processes.
Provide flexible support to corporate initiatives and emerging priorities.
Working pattern
This role is a temporary position with an expected commitment of 6 months.
