Tazaki Foods is opening a brand-new satellite distribution hub to service the North of the United Kingdom and needs new talent to run the operation.
As an Operations Supervisor, you will take on a multi-skilled role that blends office-based tasks and fieldwork which includes warehouse duties and delivery driving. You will be the leader at this new site, who will manage a small team of operatives, and drive the highest standard of service and compliance while ensure profitability and customer satisfaction. You will supervise all aspects of warehouse and transport operations, ensuring compliance with legal, food safety and internal procedures.
Working Hours: 47.5 per week – Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:00 and Saturdays as per schedule.

Key Deliverables:
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensure that all picking, replenishment, stock control and delivery duties are carried out smoothly by managing resources efficiently.
* Supervise and lead the Operations team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback as well as checking and recording the quality of work for performance.
* Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
* Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
* Manage the daily administrative side of operations by completing general documentation, managing the ordering of consumables, completing agency timesheets, staff attendance / KPIs and other admin tasks as allocated by managers.
* Schedule servicing and repairs for warehouse machinery
* Maintain a small fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in a roadworthy condition and reporting any issues.

Essential Requirements:
* Consistently demonstrate a professional attitude when interacting with staff, clients, and the general public.
* Proven ability to manage and optimize the operations of multiple store locations simultaneously, driving both top-line growth and operational efficiency.
* Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a track record of independently addressing operational challenges and driving business results.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with store managers, team members, and business partners.
* Demonstrated leadership in fostering team collaboration, motivation, and alignment with company goals.
* Hold Valid and Clean Category C Licence
