Essential Requirements
• Minimum 6 months experience within health and social care
• Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health needs
• A caring, reliable and professional approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Medication training is desirable but not essential
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable
The Role
Rotherwood Cares are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to support our client within Supported Living services across Manchester.
You will be supporting adults to live independently within the community while promoting choice, dignity and person centred care.
Duties will include:
• Supporting with daily living tasks and routines
• Encouraging independence and community engagement
• Providing emotional and behavioural support
• Supporting individuals with Autism and Mental Health needs
• Maintaining accurate daily records and reports
• Working alongside permanent staff and multidisciplinary teams
• Supporting with medication where required
