Key Responsibilities
* Create and transmit purchase orders promptly, ensuring smooth supply chain operations
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers
* Negotiate effectively to achieve cost savings and add value to the business
* Research and evaluate new suppliers, balancing cost, quality, and responsiveness
* Drive collaboration with engineering and production to ensure timely supply of materials
* Support supplier meetings and audits, maintaining excellent communication and transparency
* Work closely with stores, production, and inventory control to optimise stock levels and minimise downtime
* Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Engineering to deliver cost reduction programmes
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance KPIs and procurement efficiency
