IBK are currently supporting an introverted young man to find an enthusiastic PA who can help build his confidence and encourage him to explore new opportunities in the S6 area
Who are IBK Initiatives?
IBK is a community based, not-for-profit social enterprise with over 20 years' experience of providing Direct Payment Support to families, children and adults of all ages with a range of needs. We provide a bespoke matching service, finding the right PA for the right person.
The young man's family are looking for someone who has the experience working with people who have Autism as the young man has a diagnosis of Corpus Callous which has many aspects that are similar.
In his late 20's the young gent will eventually want to live on his own and needs someone who can encourage and positively teach him the skills to live more independently, slowly transitioning between living with his parents and living alone. The role of the PA will involve providing 1:1 support during potential new hobbies and interests.
After the Pandemic, the young man has lost a lot of his confidence, finds it difficult with building new connections and getting involved in new opportunities. The ideal PA, would be someone who is motivated yet easy going, who can provide both support and companionship, introducing him to new interests and help to fulfil his potential. The individual will be able to have a positive relationship with the young man's family and be respectful in the family home.
