Systems Administrator
Nottingham / Hybrid - Windows, iOS, AWS
£35,000 - £40,000 + Benefits
Applause IT are working with creative software house in Nottingham in who are on the lookout for a Systems Administrator who can take responsibility for the maintenance of both hardware and software systems across a variety of technologies.
The chosen Systems Administrator will be tasked maintaining the servers, telephony systems and core networks. Alongside this, you will independently plan and lead projects to develop new technical platforms for IT services and implement these services for users.
The successful Systems Administrator should have experience and exposure with the following:
1. Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012 -2022, Office 365, SCCM (or similar) Active Directory
2. iOS Apple operating system
3. Linux operating system experience, any flavour will be considered but ideally Debian
4. Cloud infrastructure (AWS ideally)
5. Virtualisation preferably VMware
6. Networking fundamentals
7. Great communication skills, with great problem-solving abilities
8. An ability to explain technical problems in a simple way to end users at all levels within the business.
