Salary: £44,400 (Mechanical) / £49,500 (Electrical) +
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Hours: Double Days, 06.00-14.00 / 14.00-22.00 Weekly Rotations

Responsibilities
* Minimise production downtime by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and responding to unplanned breakdowns within stipulated timeframes
* Ensure production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance
* Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption
* Optimise the performance and lifecycle of operational equipment with regular preventative maintenance, working with the Production team to identify and understand causes of equipment wear and underperformance
* Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns
* Carry out all work according to Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, SOPs, Dynamic Risk Assessments and company policies and procedures
Requirements
* In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery
* Electrical & Mechanical Competencies
* Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) – Advantageous
* Electrical bias – Advantageous
* Experience of working in a fast paced production environment for a minimum of 2 years – Essential
