Arthur are partnered with a leading MGA seeking a Lead Marine Cargo Underwriter to drive underwriting strategy and manage a profitable cargo portfolio through their Lloyd’s Syndicate platform. This role combines technical underwriting, broker relationship management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Underwrite marine cargo risks in line with appetite and governance
* Manage and grow a profitable international portfolio
* Develop and maintain broker relationships in the Lloyd’s market
* Set pricing, terms, and conditions for complex risks
* Monitor portfolio performance and exposures
Requirements
* Proven marine cargo underwriting experience
* Strong track record of portfolio profitability
* Established broker network
* Excellent commercial judgement and negotiation skills
