Location: Ashford
Start date: September 2025
Salary: £26,393 - £27,713 per annum (£20,117.53 - £21,123.68 pro rata) and is for 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks a year (term time only plus 5 staff development days).
Assistant SENCO
We are seeking passionate and committed Assistant SENCOs to join our hardworking and dedicated teams. The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs, helping to ensure they achieve their full potential. This includes overseeing learning interventions, liaising with students, families and external agencies, and contributing to a positive, inclusive school environment.

We are looking for someone who:
1. Has experience working with children with special educational needs, including understanding and supporting a range of additional needs
2. Is able to build positive relationships with students, staff, families and external agencies
3. Has excellent communication and organisational skills
4. Demonstrates a proactive approach, showing initiative and flexibility
5. Is able to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently
6. Holds relevant qualifications or is willing to work towards gaining them
7. Has a passion for supporting young people to thrive and succeed
