SR163/TP137 Site Manager - Essex & London - England, United Kingdom - National Grid Substation Project - Long Term Contract
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced TP137/SR163 Site Manager to oversee substation projects across Essex and London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the energy sector, particularly in Electrical Protection & Control Installation, and experience liaising with National Grid, subcontractors, and third parties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead site operations, ensuring the projects are delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with industry standards.
* Serve as the primary liaison with National Grid, subcontractors and third parties to ensure seamless project execution.
* Maintain all necessary site documentation, including Lifting & Access Plans, RAMs and ensure strict health & safety adherence.
* Monitor and assess subcontractor performance, conduct regular site inspections and implement best practices.
* Provide detailed project updates, highlighting key milestones, challenges and resource requirements.
Requirements:
* Proven site management experience in transmission & distribution projects.
* Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
* Experience working with National Grid and large-scale infrastructure projects.
