Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of primary and secondary schools across Christchurch (BH23), Bournemouth, Highcliffe, New Milton and surrounding areas.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them to achieve their full potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Providing 1:1 support and small group interventions.
* Working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
* Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour.
* Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
* Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
* Adapting to different school settings and year groups where required.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
* Experience within education, care, youth work, coaching, support work or childcare is advantageous.
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred due to the location of some schools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, positive and proactive attitude.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.
