Your Responsibilities:
* Customer Engagement: Understand and respond to customer requests, prioritizing their needs and taking action within agreed timescales.
* Resource Allocation: Assign the right resources to meet customer needs effectively.
* Job Management: Plan and manage job progress, ensuring productivity and satisfaction.
* Communication: Keep internal and external customers informed about job progress, ensuring commitments are met.
* Team Leadership: Directly manage and mentor a team of 4-8 engineers, addressing performance issues and conducting regular one-on-ones.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: Apprentice-trained engineer with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Customer Service Skills: Ability to build strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Planning & Organizing: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with gas and diesel engine products, commissioning processes, and parts identification.
* IT Proficiency: Good skills in Microsoft Office and relevant systems.
Working Conditions:
This is an office-based role with a flexible working pattern between 7 AM – 6 PM on weekdays, and potential Saturday work if required. You’ll be responsible for planning and dispatching approximately 25 regional field engineers.
