Job Summary
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the UK's largest healthcare systems employing around 40,000 staff, is offering a fixed-term, part-time post of 12 months. The role involves leading and delivering a cervical screening service within mental health inpatient services across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.

* Shift pattern: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm (pro-rata)
* Location: Negotiable
* Salary: Pro Rata for part-time hours
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of a new cervical screening service in mental health inpatient settings.
* Work collaboratively across healthcare boundaries with staff in Mental Health, Public Health, Primary, and Secondary Care.
* Provide specialist advice and support to patients, aiding decision-making regarding screening.
* Deliver education and training to healthcare professionals on cervical screening.
* Undertake audit and research activities to ensure evidence-based practice.
Qualifications and Experience
* Post-graduate level education in nursing or equivalent professional qualification.
* Experience in delivering cervical screening in line with National Education for Scotland Standards.
* Knowledge of trauma-informed care, multi-agency partnership working, quality improvement, and change management.
* Strong leadership, negotiating, and influencing skills.
