Responsibilities
* Designing F1 car composite parts, covering layout installations to patterns, moulds, tools, and jigs
* Enhancing development processes for more efficient design
* Mentoring less experienced designers
* Creating and maintaining detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and analysis reports
* Collaborating with departments to ensure reliability and performance of designed parts
* Staying up-to-date with latest technical developments in composite materials
* Contributing ideas for performance improvements and identifying potential issues
* Ensuring proactive and effective communication with various teams
Qualifications
* Proven experience in composite design, preferably in the automotive or motorsports industry
* Expertise in composite manufacturing techniques using pre-preg technology
* Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Siemens NX
* University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Effective communication and collaboration abilities
* Capability to work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines
* Ownership of assigned projects
