The role
We are working with a well-established secondary school to recruit a Cover Supervisor to supervise classes across KS3–KS5 during teacher absence. The school has clear behaviour expectations and structured routines, making it a supportive environment for confident classroom practitioners.

Key responsibilities
6. Supervise whole classes using pre-set work
7. Maintain a calm, focused learning environment
8. Manage behaviour in line with school policies
9. Ensure pupils remain on task and engaged
10. Provide feedback to teaching staff as required

14. Previous school experience desirable but not essential
