Community Support Worker
South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our dynamic Community Mental Health Team. You’ll be working alongside nurses, social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists to support adults living with mental health conditions in their recovery journey. As a Community Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges within their local communities. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help service users achieve their recovery goals, maintain independence, and improve their overall wellbeing.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide practical and emotional support to service users in their homes and community settings.
* Assist service users to develop their daily living skills, including budgeting, cooking, and accessing local services.
* Support care planning and recovery-focused interventions alongside other members of the multidisciplinary team.
