IT Support Specialist

My client is seeking a hands‑on IT Support Specialist to support 30–50 users across the UK, as well as remote colleagues..
You’ll work closely with our Digital Transformation Manager to support users, manage our Microsoft-based infrastructure, and help evolve the IT systems as we continue to grow.
Role:
* Installing and configuring hardware and software across the network
* Administering Microsoft 365 (Active Directory, Exchange, Security Groups)
* Providing user training and support for core Office 365 applications
* Troubleshooting technical issues across devices, printers, and infrastructure
* Delivering remote support and guiding users through resolutions
* Creating documentation: FAQs, wiki pages, quick-start guides
* Supporting the rollout of new applications and technologies
* Assisting operations with diagnosing issues in Windows laptop images
* Contributing to IT policy development and maintaining Cyber Essentials standards
* Testing, evaluating, and recommending new technologies
You:
* Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
* Organised, able to multitask, and comfortable working independently
* Experience or qualifications in IT Support / Computer Science / related field
* 2 years in technical support, systems admin, or desktop support
* Experience administering Microsoft/Office 365
* Familiarity with remote desktop tools and helpdesk software
* Experience with Windows OS, Autopilot, Intune, SCCM
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
* Windows Server, Azure, and VM administration skills
* Knowledge of PowerShell, .NET, Power Platform, HTML/CSS, PHP, JavaScript
* Driving licence and access to a car
