Our Vision
At Patch, we believe the future is local. That’s why we’re building a nationwide network of neighbourhood workspaces designed to become new local centres for work, culture, and community. We craft beautifully designed spaces on local high streets and in town centres to support people to ‘Work Near Home’, achieve a better work-life balance, and build thriving careers and businesses in their communities. Patch also serves as a venue for cultural and community gatherings. We build relationships with our members, local groups, and cultural organisations to support and host a programme of publicly accessible workshops, talks and events.
In Nov 2024, we opened in Bournemouth, making our home in the iconic Bobby’s building. Our vision is to create a new hub for the South Coast’s entrepreneurs, creatives, and community builders. Inside Patch, you’ll find a range of meeting and event spaces (including a podcast studio and wellness studio), as well as a suite of workspaces, from coworking studios to private offices.
Patch is proud to be an accredited B-Corp. This represents an ongoing commitment to demonstrating that businesses can lead positive social and environmental change and be a force for good in our communities.
We are seeking a Part-Time Front-of-House Assistant to join Patch Bournemouth to establish it as a leading center for member engagement and professional enrichment. In collaboration with the Site Director, the site team, and the Central Support Team, your role will be essential in creating a welcoming, productive, and connected environment that upholds Patch’s core values and supports the 'Work Near Home' philosophy.
You will play a key role at our Bournemouth venue, actively enhancing member interactions to build a strong sense of community and connectivity. This position is ideal for individuals with a can-do approach who have a deep commitment to customer service, community building, and enriching the professional lives of our members.

* Experience Management: Collaborate with the Community and Member Executive to enhance member experience from onboarding through daily engagement, ensuring consistently high-quality interactions.
* Operational Support: Work alongside the Site Team to support in delivering seamless operations within the workspace.
About You
* Exceptional Communicator: Skilled at building and sustaining strong relationships.
* Community-Focused: Dedicated to nurturing an engaging and supportive environment.
