This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2days per week in our WhitwellontheHill office. Due to the beautifulremote location access to your own transport is essential. Worklife balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion onflexible working patterns and parttime working (minimum 4 days perweek).
Role:
You will lead allsales contact centre activities to ensure that we smash ourbudgeted targets and provide excellent service to our customers.The successful candidate will drive significant revenue growth andcustomer acquisition by maximising and creating sales opportunitiesthat lead to bookings. You will ensure we maintain our awardwinning levels of customer experience identifying improvements andefficiencies and reducing the time taken to confirm our holidaysand improve our response time to customer queries. You will alsobring a more commercial focus to this large business area. You willdevelop and lead a highly motivated and unified sales team whichembraces a culture of high achievement and personalresponsibility.
Keyresponsibilities:
* Generate a fun highenergy environment with a positive team culture where salesconversions are maximised and staff deliver exceptional customerservice.
* Maintain and adjust an incentivestructure for the sales team to maximize sales whilst maintainingteam cohesion.
* Collaborate with MarketingCommercial and Product on tactical sales campaigns to maximisesales opportunities and customers lifetimevalue.
* Oversee the team leaders who will managethe day to day work flow and resource management to ensure aconsistently high quality and efficient service tocustomers.
* Define and agree KPIs with theLeadership Team focussing on maximising conversion and boostingrevenue. Ensure the team adhere to these protecting Inntravelsposition as a market leader for customerservice.
* Motivate and inspire team leaders toperform in line with KPIs. Set individual targets to help teamleaders understand their role in the companys vision and growthplans. Through coaching regular 11s and supporting personaldevelopment you will facilitate the improvement of team leadersperformance by encouraging them to embrace a culture of continuallearning and personal responsibility.
* Beinfluential in supporting the development of a scalable Omnichannelsales environment to facilitate the management of sales deliveryacross all channels.
* Provide the team with thetools to enable them to improve our customers experience maximisesales conversions and significantly improve workflowmanagement.
* In conjunction with the widerbusiness reduce our time to book KPI by ascertaining currentblockers identifying improvements and redefining processes tosignificantly improve this metric.
* Takeownership of designing and delivering (with IT) the systems andprocesses required to give real time visibility to theteam.
* Work cross functionally to ensureprojects and business initiatives are implemented across thecustomer operations team.
* Establish a teamtraining program to minimise time taken to onboard and trainknowledgeable motivated and effective members and to enableInntravel to onboard new colleagues effectively in a hybridenvironment.
* Oversee recruitment onboarding andtraining of the new members of the salesteam.
* Escalation point for very challengingcustomer situations/complaints.
* Ensure the Headof Sales and Customer Services has sight of any issues which mayimpact the businesses ability to achieve current businessplans/objectives and also any opportunities it would beadvantageous for the senior management of the business to be awareof.
* Deputise for the Head of Sales and CustomerServices at Senior Leadership Team level asrequired.
* Work cross functionally to ensureprojects and business initiatives are implemented across the salesteam.
* Make sustainability a core considerationin all decisions that are made in thisrole.

* Trainingcoaching and development skills which enable you to empower andinspire individual performance and development within yourteam.
* People management skills includingsetting clear objectives managing performance giving feedback andholding people accountable.
* Communicationskills: Highly confident competent and articulate individual whocan communicate professionally across alllevels.
* Skilled in implementation of salesstrategies that have delivered exceptional results in consumerfacing business (travel industry preferred but notessential).

* Planning and implementation skillswhich ensure initiatives/projects run to time and budget whilstachieving objectives.
