Our newly established Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO) focuses on creating a centralised portfolio that drives change, transformation, and continuous improvement. We’re currently looking for two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the team.
The team shapes and optimises project Portfolios, ensures strategic alignment, enhances decision-making, and provides evidence to manage risk across change and transformation. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in change and transformation with development opportunities and strong support from your team.
You will be an important part of the PMO team, analysing data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio, helping to set the standards for benefits and value management and embedding them. You will help our teams identify, value, and validate their project benefits.
The PMO is part of the Transformation Team within the Strategy, Transformation and Assurance (STA) directorate. The PMO supports change, transformation, and continuous improvement across the business. STA fosters inclusive, supportive cultures and uses evidence and innovation to influence policy and delivery.
Responsibilities
* Analyse data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio.
* Help set standards for benefits and value management and support embedding them across the organisation.
* Identify, value, and validate project benefits to support decision-making and benefits realisation.
* Contribute to the ongoing optimisation of project portfolios to ensure strategic alignment and risk management.
Experience and Qualifications
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience as a Benefits Analyst, Efficiencies Analyst, or Business Analyst.
* Experience building and maintaining dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
* Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build constructive relationships.
* Clear communication skills, able to explain complex analysis simply and persuasively to non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivation and adaptability; comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
* Experience producing guidance, toolkits, or frameworks to support colleagues.
* Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures and encourage consideration of diversity issues in work.

* Hybrid working location; national role with EA Office base.
