About the Role You will play a vital role in ensuring every vehicle leaving our site reflects the high standards our customers expect. From preparing vehicles for handover to maintaining presentation across our forecourt and service department, your attention to detail will be key. Key Responsibilities: Wash and valet sales and service vehicles to a high professional standard Prepare new vehicles following Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Carry out full clean-downs after servicing Use professional valeting equipment and approved cleaning products safely Identify and report any vehicle damage or defects Fit in-car marketing materials for display vehicles Safely move and park vehicles across the sites Maintain accurate records using time sheet systems Adhere to all Health & Safety and vehicle movement procedures What We’re Looking For Previous experience in vehicle valeting or service washing Knowledge of valeting products and safe handling of chemicals Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 2 years – essential) Good communication skills, both written and verbal Confidence using digital devices (tablets, smartphones, laptops) A reliable, flexible, and team-focused approach What We Offer Competitive salary, based on experience 22 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 26 with service) Cycle to Work Scheme Access to a staff discount platform Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme Life assurance Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and services Full PPE and uniform provided Ongoing training and development opportunities A supportive, inclusive, and friendly working environment John Banks Group is proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
