As Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of reviewing and producing accounts while managing workflow and assisting junior team members. This is a hands-on role to begin with, transitioning into a more review-focused position ASAP to support bottlenecks thanks to 40% growth last year. The successful Accounts Manager will enjoy the flexibility to work remotely up to three days a week (potentially more), variable work and adaptable working hours to suit their lifestyle. Reporting to the Client Director, you will be responsible for: Reviewing team output (50%) including year-end accounts, personal tax returns, and P11Ds Producing accounts (50%) - initially hands-on, then moving into a review-heavy role Managing workload and workflow across the team Mentoring junior team members and supporting their development Collaborating with Directors to enhance client service and internal processes What you will need: Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA) Strong technical accounting skills — you must be a confident and capable accountant Experience in a similar role such as: Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager / Client Advisor A background in accountancy practice is essential Experience using Xero and managing a dynamic, growing portfolio What you will get: Remote working days (pick which 3 days you want) Flexible working hours (start early, finish early - your choice!)
