Customer Team Leader Location: 56 Main Street, Killearn, G63 9RH Pay: £13.65 per hour Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time Working pattern: Varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview. The role will also include working in our in-store bakery.

We’re looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op.

As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll be part of a friendly team dedicated to helping our customers. You’ll lead the store team—coaching and supervising our Customer Team Members and deputising for the Store Manager, while also delivering excellent customer service and performing various store tasks like re-stocking shelves and cleaning spillages.

What you’ll do
* Provide friendly, welcoming, helpful, and thoughtful service daily, often managing the store and handling challenging situations in our in-store bakery.
* Develop your team’s capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone’s voice is valued and respected.
* Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational.
* Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to enhance shopping experience.
* Support your store manager by deputising when necessary and assisting with HR processes.
* Lead the introduction of new products and services, working with your team to implement changes and gather feedback.
* Build relationships and participate in your local community, supporting the delivery of the local Co-op community plan.
