Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Production Assembly Technician to join our experienced and dedicated engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing company products to exacting standards and quality specifications as defined by technical drawings and written instructions.
Key Responsibilities
Execute engineering duties including sub-assembly production fitting and final assembly operations
Assemble mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic components and sub-assemblies
Produce and build fabricated assemblies of varying size and complexity, including:
o Marking out and cutting materials
o Folding and pipe bending
o Weld joint preparation
o Hydraulic and pneumatic system installation
o General production build assemblies
Verify complete assemblies for alignment, dimensions, and quality standards
Adhere to company Health & Safety policies and procedures
Maintain responsibility for personal safety and the safety of colleagues
Comply with all safety rules and supervisor instructions
Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
Solid engineering background with relevant industry experience
Proficiency in interpreting manufacturing drawings, general arrangement drawings, and sub-assembly drawings
Competent use of hand and power tools for assembling large and small fabricated components
Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical circuitry
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities
Team player with the ability to work independently and on own initiative
Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
Desirable:
Experience in vehicle fabricating/fitting
Background in aviation, military, marine, or similar industries
Knowledge of basic electrical assembly and ability to read electrical circuit drawings

Hourly rate: £TBC (dependent on experience)
