The client we are representing is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of Aluminium and PVC-U solutions to both the Modular and Leisure sectors. They are searching for successful candidates for an assembly line based in Hull, working 06:00 to 16:15 Monday to Thursday, with opportunities for overtime when available.
The role primarily involves manufacturing tasks within the industries department, where you will assemble frames, windows, doors, and fit accessories such as handles and hinges, along with other UPVC products, with full training provided. The role may also support other areas of the business with similar assembly duties around the site, including fitting accessories, glazing, beading, and gasketing.
Previous experience with power tools and hand tools, operating machinery such as de-coiling, guillotining, press brakes, punching, drilling, sawing, bending, bonding, and poly-coating is advantageous and may lead to an enhanced pay grade depending on skill and experience. We are looking for candidates who:
* Have attention to detail for quality control and dispatch of materials
* Are physically fit due to the nature of the role
* Are reliable, well-mannered, and have a good attendance and timekeeping record
* Are conscientious, enthusiastic, and willing to meet deadlines
* Can work independently and as part of a team
* Have a strong attitude towards Health and Safety, maintaining high standards
* Are proactive with a desire to learn and develop
What we can offer:
* £11.44 - £12.68 per hour, depending on grading
* Overtime available at 1.5x pay across all shifts if requested
* Working Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 16:15, with optional overtime on Fridays and weekends
