Axon Moore are pleased to partner with a fantastic business in Accrington looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their supportive finance team.
This role is for experienced candidates seeking a favourable work/life balance while maintaining an active and engaging role within finance. Reporting to the management accountant, your role will assist with transactional functions and ad‑hoc tasks.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Accurately process supplier invoices in line with agreed payment terms.
* File and match invoices with purchase orders.
* Coding and input invoices onto system and filing for payment.
* Resolve internal and external queries.
* Process staff expenses.
* Manage petty cash.
* Reconcile supplier statements, company credit cards and bank reconciliations.
* Other ad‑hoc duties.
Required Skills and Experience
* At least two years’ experience within similar roles.
* Able to efficiently manage a high‑volume workload.
* Microsoft Excel proficient.
* Good attention to detail.
* Proactive, self‑motivated and organised.
* Able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
