Role Description
This is a great opportunity for a Paralegal to join a fast-paced and friendly team based in Reading. The ideal candidate will have some Paralegal experience within a similar environment. You should be enthusiastic, resilient, and able to provide high-quality, professional service to our fee earners in the Wills, Trust & Probate Team, as well as to clients.
You will be part of a small, supportive team and will be valued for your individual contribution. The firm offers training to help develop your skills and experience.
Experience/Attributes required
* Ability to work independently within instructions from senior fee earners
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Good interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
* Proficient IT skills, especially Microsoft Office (including Excel)
Work responsibilities
* Handling telephone enquiries from clients
* Making calls to clients and third parties under supervision
* Administering estates
* Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney under supervision
* Maintaining client relationships
* Producing accurate documentation and reports within deadlines
* Keeping files organized and clients informed about case progress
* Assisting with research and new file openings
* Supporting billing processes and handling BACs forms
* Upholding high-quality work standards to protect the firm's reputation
