Kenwood Recruitment Solutions Ltd is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a respected housing and enterprise service provider, for a Customer Service Assistant based in Leeds.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join a dynamic team in a front-facing role, acting as the first point of contact for tenants, clients, and visitors. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, responsive service while supporting operational teams to meet key performance targets.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a professional and welcoming reception service to all visitors and clients
* Act as the first point of contact via telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries
* Manage customer queries efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate responses
* Take ownership of enquiries, aiming for first-contact resolution wherever possible
* Support customers with rent payments and provide initial guidance on rent accounts and arrears
* Administer repair requests, including logging issues, raising jobs, and monitoring progress
* Liaise with contractors to coordinate repairs and appointments
* Maintain accurate records and ensure internal systems are kept up to date
* Ensure reception and public areas are well-presented and compliant with GDPR standards
* Provide administrative support across housing, maintenance, and lettings functions
* Assist in the day-to-day coordination of a busy media centre environment
* Handle sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgement
* Follow procedures relating to anti-social behaviour and liaise with relevant stakeholders
* Uphold health and safety standards in line with current policies

Our client is an established housing provider and is committed to placing customers at the heart of everything they do. They pride themselves on delivering inclusive, high-quality services and continuously improving customer satisfaction across all areas of their operations.
This is a temporary contract to begin with and there is a chance for this role to become permanent after 16 weeks. This role is site based and requires the successful candidate to work from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
