Location: Stoke-on-Trent (ST3)
Salary: £37,512 – £40,287 DOE (Inclusive of Sleeps)
Rota: 2 on / 4 off

About the Role:
As Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the Registered Manager to lead a nurturing, safe and high-quality home for one child. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading shifts and deputising in the Manager’s absence
• Supporting with rotas, recruitment, and team development
• Shaping and reviewing individualised care plans
• Promoting education, healthy routines and emotional wellbeing
• Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and Ofsted standards
• Building strong, supportive relationships with children, families and professionals
• Leading by example to inspire your team and uphold best practice

About You:
You’ll need:
• Level 3 (minimum) in Residential Childcare
• At least 2 years’ experience in children’s homes, including 1 year in a senior or deputy role
• Confidence in leading shifts and supporting staff
• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and care regulations
• A caring, committed and resilient approach
• A full UK driving licence
