I am recruiting for a Merchandiser to join an apparel brand. You will be responsible for planning, forecasting and trading.
Some of your key responsibilities will include;
* Building relationships with internal teams to continuously develop & optimise product lines
* Maximising both Sales & margins ensuring stock requirement achieved
* Working closely with internal teams to improve product forecasting
* Reviewing daily & weekly trading reports to reduce stock risks
* Responsibility for stock management to increase sales & reduce obsolete stock
* Collating figures and updating the senior management team regularly
* Working cross functionally with warehousing, shipping, finance & sales teams to optimise sales and margin, while ensuring high levels of professionalism are achieved
* Monitoring market & competitor activity
Key requirement for the role;
1. Previous experience within a retail Merchandising team
2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
3. Ability to work under pressure with proven problem-solving skills
4. Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse & collate info from various sources
