Overview
Role: Head of Income Generation & Engagement / Individual Giving Manager. Planning and delivery of the Greyhound Trust’s fundraising from individuals to support delivery of our organisational strategy.
This is a new role within our growing income generation and engagement team. Reporting to the Head of Income Generation and Engagement, this role will review and develop current Individual Giving income streams, identify and implement new opportunities, and deliver a sustainable growth plan aligned with the Greyhound Trust brand, stakeholders, resources and strategic aspirations. We aim to build a strong financial foundation to care for and home more greyhounds today and in the future, engaging new supporters and motivating existing ones to continue their support.
About Us
At Greyhound Trust, we believe every retired racing greyhound deserves a loving home and a life filled with kindness and compassion. Our national network of homing centres and Branches—supported by dedicated staff and volunteers—helps over a thousand greyhounds each year in their journey from track to home. With an annual income of around £4.5m, we enable us to find loving homes for around half of the 8,000 greyhounds that retire from racing every year.
The Role
Planning and delivery of the Greyhound Trust’s fundraising from individuals to support delivery of our organisational strategy.
Build a diverse and sustainable individual giving portfolio, plan and deliver multi-channel campaigns, use data and insight to drive performance, develop supporter journeys, and integrate individual giving with wider brand, marketing, communications and retail initiatives. Provide support to branches in ad hoc individual giving activities and work with the PR / Engagement Manager to maximise impact of integrated campaigns both nationally and with branches.
What you will do
* Under the direction of the Head of Income Generation and Engagement, create, deliver and evaluate a long-term Individual Giving strategy.
* Build a diverse and sustainable individual giving portfolio aligned to the Greyhound Trust brand and growth aspirations.
* Plan and deliver engaging multi-channel fundraising campaigns, appeals and/or product promotions.
* Use data and insight to drive performance, monitor results, and build cases for support.
* Develop and deliver supporter journeys to encourage loyalty and growth across all income streams.
* Integrate individual giving with wider brand, marketing, communications and retail initiatives.
* Provide support to branches in ad hoc individual giving activities.
* Collaborate with the PR / Engagement Manager to maximise impact of integrated campaigns nationally and with branches.
About You
* Experienced in devising and implementing an individual giving programme across donor acquisition, journeys and stewardship.
* Target-focused with a track record of delivery.
* Professional and proactive, with a strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude.
* Curious, analytical, data and insight-driven and innovative.
* Excellent communicator, negotiator and team-player.
* Capable of handling stressful situations while maintaining a positive demeanour.
* Excellent discretion with high professional standards.
