Stowmarket High School has an exciting future. We are looking to appoint a meticulous and conscientious Medical Administrator to take responsibility for providing school medical and pastoral administration. The role will involve organising and recording medication for students with known medical conditions and healthcare plans, as well as administering regular medications. You will be responsible for maintaining the first aid records, treating small injuries and giving first aid where necessary as well as coordinating the schools trained first aiders.
The second element to this role is to act as the schools Educational Visits Coordinator, overseeing and planning, costing and risk assessing all school trips using EVOLVE.

You will:
* have a current first aid certificate or a recently expired one and a willingness to refresh
* have excellent organisational skills
* be meticulous with good attention to detail
* be calm under pressure, yet commanding to take control of situations
* be flexible and a good multitasker
* have the ability to be empathetic but able to maintain and uphold school policies
* be wholly dedicated to safeguarding pupils.
