Our client is the UK’s leading business training and coaching platform for trade and construction business owners. They help tradespeople become successful business owners through a range of training solutions, including 12-month business academies, seminar sessions, and retreats. Due to continued expansion, they’re now looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to sustain growth of the business from £20 million to £100 million over the next few years.
The Growth Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving daily, measurable lead generation and revenue growth across all channels. This is a hands-on, data-led marketing role responsible for launching and optimising campaigns, managing pipelines and automations, and working proactively with the sales team to deliver ambitious growth targets.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Campaign Execution
• Plan, launch, and optimise daily outbound campaigns (SMS, email, retargeting) to fill the sales pipeline.
• Develop and manage marketing sequences and automations to nurture and convert leads.
• Identify opportunities to generate inbound leads through organic and paid channels.
2. CRM Management & Conversion Optimisation
• Own the CRM: ensure all data, pipelines, and workflows are up to date.
• Implement and improve automated follow-ups and workflows to maximise conversion.
• Monitor lead flow and proactively flag gaps or underperformance.
3. Sales Alignment & Accountability
• Collaborate daily with the sales team to track lead progression.
• Hold salespeople to account on timely lead follow-up and pipeline hygiene.
• Provide reporting on leads, conversions, and ROI.
4. Data & Performance Reporting
• Track KPIs: campaign response rates, cost per lead, conversion rates, sales velocity.
• Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to leadership.
• Use insights to iterate and improve marketing and sales processes.
5. Content & Messaging
• Write and design compelling marketing assets (emails, SMS scripts, landing pages).
• Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency across campaigns.
6. Continuous Optimisation
• Test and refine offers, creative, messaging, and funnels.
• Stay current on marketing trends, technologies, and compliance best practices.
Candidate Profile:
• Demonstrable experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing within a B2B company
• Skills: Campaign management, CRM mastery, marketing automation, copywriting, conversion optimisation.
