POSITION: Private Clients HNW Broker/Account Executive
Location: Kent
Start: ASAP
Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 depending on experience
Working hours: 9:00 am to 5.00 pm (Monday to Friday)
Our client is an established member based organization offering advice and solutions to private listed property owners in the UK. They provide high-quality insurance service designed to support the needs of listed property owners.
They are on the lookout for highly motivated, experienced Insurance Brokers/Underwriters who want to develop their career within a fast-growing business. The ideal candidate must possess a positive attitude and self-discipline to deliver personal objectives, whilst also demonstrating a team working attitude to meet overall business targets.
The business trades with a wide range of leading UK Insurers and have developed their own bespoke products designed for needs of their members where they have high levels of underwriting authority and control.
In this role you will be dealing with New Business sales, Renewals and admin enquiries effectively and professionally you will build rapport with clients and find them the right policy for their needs. You will act as the first point of contact for enquiries and must demonstrate high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
* Providing an excellent level of service to clients on enquiries, new business quotations, MTA’s and renewals
* Building relationships with key clients and insurer partners
* Handling all enquiries in a professional manner and in line with service standards and regulatory requirements
* Recording all relevant information, correspondence and documentation on Acturis system and making effective use of the diary system
* Underwriting large household risks up to your individual underwriting authority
* Contributing to, and working with the wider team, in achieving the business plan including conversion, retention, revenue and loss ratio objectives.
Requirements
* Good level of school or university education
* 2 years’ experience in Household and Personal Lines, ideally in Non-standard and HNW.
* Experience of working with Acturis is desired but not essential.
* Good level of technical insurance skills
* Ability to work under own initiative
* Excellent communication and client service skills
* Good negotiation and broking skills
* Ability to identify and respond appropriately to an individual client’s level of understanding
* Good computer skills including Excel, Word & Outlook.
