Overview
As a Team Leader at Hobbycraft, you will assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store and run the store in the Store Manager’s absence. You will deliver excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits and drives incremental sales, and demonstrate our brand values in every aspect of your work.

* Job Type – Team Leader
* Salary - £13.74 per hour
* Hours of Work - 15 hours a week
* Shift pattern - Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
Responsibilities
* Teamwork and Leadership – lead by example, coaching colleagues to drive outstanding customer service and commercial awareness
* Brand ambassador – be passionate about the Hobbycraft brand and embrace change positively
* Planner – ensure the store is set for a successful day of trade
* Relationship builder – treat everyone fairly with dignity and respect, adhering to Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging policy
* Merchandiser – coordinate deliveries; manual handling may be required
* Click and Collect – coordinate the Click and Collect process
* Policy expert – comply with company policies and Health & Safety regulations
* Communicator – deliver clear communications, daily targets and expectations
* Workshops – host various in-store workshops
* Store Management – support the Store Manager, including opening/closing, cash controls, data and general admin
* Recruitment – assist in building a high-performing team through recruitment, induction and training
* Colleague Support – provide coaching and support to colleagues
Experience

* Proven track record in retail or similar environment
* Duty Management experience is advantageous

Job suitability
This role would suit a current Team Leader in a Retail or similar environment, or an experienced colleague looking to transition onto the management career path. The candidate should be confident, professional, able to support a diverse team in a fast-paced environment and cope with changing priorities.
