Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Account Manager to join our Enterprise Services team in Watford. This pivotal role involves developing and nurturing relationships with strategically important clients, ensuring their needs are met while driving business growth and profitability.


Key Responsibilities

* Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with key client stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
* Sales and Business Development: Achieve sales targets and strategic objectives by identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and expanding the client base.
* Solution Delivery: Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that address client requirements, coordinating resources and expertise as needed.
* Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, aligning client objectives with company capabilities to drive mutual success.
* Reporting and Analysis: Monitor account performance, providing regular updates and insights to senior management, and ensuring accurate sales forecasting.
* Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and close deals that meet both client and company objectives.


Essential Skills and Qualifications

* Experience: Proven track record in account management or business development, preferably within the construction, electrical, data, or fibre industries.
* Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
* Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the capability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
* Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to collective goals and success.
* Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with structured cabling, fibre optics, electrical systems, or data centre operations.
* Sales Acumen: Experience in developing and executing sales strategies that drive business growth.
* Client-Centric Approach: Demonstrated commitment to understanding and addressing client needs and expectations.
