Overview
As an Engagement for Learning (EFL) Assistant, you will be a visible and central member of the pastoral and student support team. Your primary focus will be assisting with the implementation of the Academy's Engagement for Learning policy to engage students positively and promote appropriate behavior.
What you will do

* Be a visible, supportive presence within the pastoral and student support team.
* Support a culture of high expectations and inclusive practice aligned with the school values of commitment to others and commitment to learning.
What we are looking for
* Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting or with young people. Experience working 1:1 with students with additional social and emotional needs is desirable.
* Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
* Professional Skills: Ability to carry out tasks without close supervision, with strong organizational and time management skills.
* Qualifications: GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) are essential. A First Aid qualification is desirable, though training can be provided.
* Personal Attributes: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and make accurate judgments.
