Requirements
The ideal Education – mental health support worker must be enthusiastic, able to build rapport with students, resilient, flexible, and quick-thinking to adapt to challenging situations. Candidates should have relevant experience within the last 2 years, with professional, performance-based references. Training in Team Teach is preferred; Vision can offer free training if needed.
The Role
This role involves supporting young people and children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties in a specialist school setting in Pontefract. Full-time availability Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, is preferred. The position is initially via Vision for Education on a daily rate, with a high likelihood of contract after 12 weeks for suitable candidates. Candidates should be prepared to complete necessary training prior to starting. Immediate start on our supply register is desired.
