Overview
Are you a Service Engineer with experience working on diesel-powered equipment looking for a varied role split between workshop and field work, offering specialist training on bespoke pumping systems and clear progression into a Foreman position? This specialist pumping solutions provider supplies high-performance pump hire equipment and engineered fluid handling systems to the construction, mining, utilities, and industrial sectors. They support critical operations such as dewatering, wastewater management, and flood control with energy-efficient, heavy‑duty pumping solutions trusted by contractors, infrastructure providers, and environmental operators across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Service, maintain and repair diesel-driven pump systems
* 50/50 split between workshop-based work and field service
* Prepare, inspect and test pump hire equipment at the depot
* Diagnose faults on diesel engines and pumping systems
* Carry out planned servicing and reactive maintenance
* On call rota 1 in 3 weeks
* East Midlands patch, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Qualifications
* Experience working on diesel engines and/or generators
* Able to diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs
* Full UK driving licence
* Commutable to Bolton
