Do you have a year or two of experience in a marketing or communications team? Or are you a graduate currently working in an office environment but keen to break into marketing? As part of a small and busy communications team, you’ll contribute to external campaigns, media engagement, brand storytelling, and corporate initiatives that help build a clear and consistent voice across the organisation.
You will ideally have a relevant degree (e.g. marketing, communications, journalism, business, English, or similar)
You’ll need either prior office experience or at least one year’s marketing or communications experience
A UK driving licence is essential
Working closely with the head of communications, you’ll support a mix of internal and external communications, including:
Drafting and editing engaging copy for press releases, websites, social media, and internal materials
Helping to develop content for external partnerships, including charities and local community initiatives
Supporting the planning and execution of campaigns and media outreach
Managing and updating social media content calendars (particularly LinkedIn and X)
Helping to organise and promote events, exhibitions, and corporate activities
There is the option for hybrid working, but you must be able to drive and live within a commutable distance of the office based in Bedford.
