Floryn House Care Home is a brand-new, purpose-built home in the beautiful village of Yarnton, Oxfordshire. With luxury accommodation for up to 73 residents, we provide Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care in a warm and supportive setting.
We are now looking for a Hairdresser to join our team. This is more than a role – it is an opportunity to brighten the lives of our residents, helping them to feel pampered, confident, and cared for.

What You Will Do
From trims and blow-dries to setting styles, you will deliver a full range of hairdressing services with skill, care, and attention. You will keep the salon area clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and ensure all equipment and products are used safely and effectively. By building positive relationships with residents, you will gain an understanding of their preferences and help make their salon visit an enjoyable part of their week.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience as a qualified Hairdresser, ideally with previous work in a care or customer-focused environment
* A friendly, patient, and compassionate approach, with a genuine interest in residents’ wellbeing
* Good communication skills and the ability to put people at ease
* Attention to detail, ensuring both high standards of hairdressing and salon cleanliness
