South Brent Primary School is a very special place to work, in a beautiful rural location. South Brent village is situated on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and surrounded by farmland. The school benefits from extensive grounds providing a range of outdoor education areas.
Our dedicated team of staff and governors work together to create a school where there is a real sense of community and where staff and learners can flourish. Our school aims to provide a stimulating and fun learning environment where pupils are encouraged, supported, motivated and challenged to undertake their personal journey of discovery.
We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic, committed and motivated individuals to join our school's Learning Support Team.
These positions could require the successful applicants to work throughout the school to support learning.
This will include liaising closely with class teachers to support individual pupil development (including pupils with EHCPs), support learning through a range of individual and group-based interventions and provide pupil supervision at lunchtime. A knowledge of the Maths and English primary curriculum would be a distinct advantage but not essential as training can be provided.
To apply for this role please submit your application online; your supporting statement should outline your suitability for the post.
The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Friday 6th March 2026, interviews will be held on Wednesday 18th March 2026.
All shortlisted applicants will be subject to an online search.
The Harbour Schools Partnership require all applicants to be eligible to work in the UK with no restrictions, as we are unable to offer sponsorship/work visas. You will be required to provide proof of Right to Work at interview stage.
