Technical Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Technical Sales Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will combine technical understanding with commercial acumen and exceptional communication skills to effectively present iKoustic’s solutions to clients and drive sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement:
* Manage and grow a portfolio of clients by providing tailored soundproofing solutions from iKoustic’s extensive product range.
* Conduct site visits and assessments to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
* Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
* Provide exceptional customer service, acting with empathy and integrity to address client enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Business Development & Lead Generation:
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals and research.
* Maintain an active and well‑qualified pipeline of customers and prospects, ensuring consistent sales growth.
Sales Process Management:
* Examine and prepare detailed quotations, proposals, and presentations.
* Negotiate terms and close sales effectively to meet or exceed monthly targets.
* Utilise CRM and Microsoft Office tools for tracking, reporting and data analysis.
Product Knowledge:
* Maintain in‑depth knowledge of iKoustic's product range including features, benefits, and technical specifications.
* Stay updated on industry developments, building regulations and competitor offerings.
* Support continuous improvement by sharing client feedback and contributing to cross‑departmental initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within the acoustics or construction industries.
* Strong ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications, visualising and communicating complex technical details with clarity and confidence.
* Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills, capable of engaging confidently with clients, consultants, and contractors at all levels.
* Proficiency in CRM systems, Sage, and the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for reporting and data analysis.
* Highly organised and commercially astute, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
* A self‑motivated, results‑driven mindset, combining strategic thinking with hands‑on initiative to identify opportunities and close business effectively.
* Collaborative and adaptable team player, comfortable working cross‑functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
* Genuine passion for solution‑led selling, customer experience, and representing a brand known for technical excellence and trusted expertise in soundproofing.
