Job Title: Full-Time Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools

Salary: £13.75 - £15 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
About the Role
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team and support primary schools in Accrington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide classroom support, deliver targeted interventions, and help create an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils’ learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
* Assisting the class teacher with classroom management and preparation of learning materials.
* Delivering small group and 1:1 interventions to help children reach their full potential.
* Promoting positive behaviour and ensuring a safe, supportive learning environment.
* Encouraging pupil engagement, independence and confidence.
Requirements
* Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (desirable).
* A patient, nurturing and proactive approach.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* A genuine passion for supporting children's education and development.
* An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
