About the Role
We are looking for a committed and skilled Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Adults Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive team working to protect adults at risk across North Lincolnshire.
You will lead and co-ordinate safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act 2014, working closely with individuals, families, and partner agencies to assess risk and develop effective protection plans. You will be expected to apply professional judgement in complex situations, balancing risk, autonomy, and legal responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake safeguarding enquiries and coordinate multi-agency responses.
Carry out risk assessments and develop safeguarding plans.
Promote the rights and wellbeing of adults at risk.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvement.
Participate in reflective supervision and continuous professional development.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
Experience in adult safeguarding and multi-agency working.
Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
A commitment to person-centred practice and promoting independence.
