Main duties of the job
What You’ll Do:
• Provide strategic and operational leadership across Health at Work services
• Champion workplace wellbeing, injury prevention, and safe working practices
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, including medical staff, counsellors, and physiotherapists
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement aligned to SEQOHS standards
• Shape policies and practices that protect and empower our workforce
• Collaborate across departments to enhance staff experience and retention
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Clinical experience and knowledge of occupational health and staff counselling
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and workplace wellbeing frameworks
• A strategic mindset with a passion for quality improvement and intelligent automation
• Ability to influence behaviours and culture across the organisation

Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Post graduate qualification or equivalent relevant experience in relevant field.
2. Qualified Clinical Practitioner registered with appropriate regulatory body.
3. Registered Specialist Practitioner Community Public Health Nurse (Part 3 NMC) or equivalent.
Knowledge
Essential criteria
4. Good general knowledge of the NHS and current clinical standards within Occupational Health services or equivalent/similar services.
5. Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and best practice guidance.
6. Experience of successful management at a senior level and developing and leading high performing teams
Desirable criteria
7. Clinical governance and audit knowledge.
